Kids are in school 9 hours per day for 5 days a week, and this makes it difficult to monitor their food intake. We are not sure if they are eating the right amount or the right kinds food. As parents, we want to make sure that they are eating healthy and balanced diet even when they are at school. By making fun and colorful bento boxes, it makes it easier to introduce healthy food for your preschooler and graders. These cute and colorful food presentation are enticing for the little kids.

TOOLS
Before jumping into our food ideas, here are the tools we are going to need:- Spill-proof Food Containers: Make sure that kids can easily open these containers without assistance. Let them practice locking and opening their lunchboxes at home.
- Silicone Cups: to separate food items
- Food Picks: for small food items such as fruits or cheese
- Food Molder (optional): this is used to mold and shape food items such as bread or rice
EASY YET COLORFUL
Being an artist is not a requirement in creating bento boxes. Make your meal prep fast and easy by choosing colorful and bright ingredients to incorporate in your child's lunch. Choose colorful ingredients that can easily be found in a Rainbow, such as purple for ube, yellow for mango, brown for chicken, orange for orange, green for broccoli and etc. Since Phillipines is rich in indigenous & colorful fruits and veggies, you can easily come up with rainbow colored bento boxes for your little ones. Your imagination is your limit!
